Pictures now feel in the present socio-economic condition the cinema should go the audience house.

•       I have 50 years association with the media. From a child I was seeing media very closely in my family in Mysore.
•       I grew up in life seeing the film reels, film boxes was my pencil box in the house. Seeing Benhur, Kagaz Ke Phool and my father's films I was fascinated towards cinema.
•       I was given the car driver job by my father Shanker Singh. The fascination to drive car moved me very close to cinema. I was picking artists for my father's films.
•       Appa wanted me to be a doctor. He had the quota of a Political sufferer as he stayed in the prison for six months.
•       When my father started Mahatma and Nehru touring talkies with Vishwanath Shetty the things were different.
•       In those days my father came from Hassan with Rs.35 lakhs to become an exhibitor by buying Prabhat theatre. But on the way met a director became a producer.
•       My father objected to shift to Madras from Mysore while Vittalacharya and others went to settle in other languages. My father never repented for not going to other languages.
•       All good films are made in Mysore. Other places the creativity was not adjusting.
•       When 'Krishnaleele' was bad experience it is Hunsur Krishnamurthy came up with subjects.
•       The first Kannada film that changed the economics of film was Jaganmohini. For 80000 Rs.17 lakhs profit was earned.
•       Dr.Rajakumar for Rs.30 payment first applied grease paint from Srinivasa Kalyana.
•       The positioning of shivalinga in my father's 'Shivasharane Nambiyakka' by my mother Protima Devi earned good response from the audience.
•       In those days in our family in the first floor my father was staying. Next was Hunsur Krishnamurthy, HL Narayana Rao, Make Up subbanna the favorite of my father was staying. In the morning he was doing make up and in the evening he was specialist in preparing 'Koli Saar' that was immensely liked by my father.
•       At that time there was a tussle between my father and Panthulu on the film 'Shivasharane….
•       I took up direction from Nagarhole. It became a history. In the list joined Ganda Berunda, Bandhana, Muttina Hara, Antha etc.
•       Antha was liked by Puttanna but not by KCN Chandrasekhar. After four days of success the same KCN called me up and congratulated me. Rs.250 was black ticket in Alankar theatre in KG Road for 'Antha'.
•       Ambi wanted to do Bandhana but Vishnu did it (the right was taken from Kalpana) and Vishnu should have done Antha but Ambi did it.
•       Today content is most important. Discipline in making is missing.
•       My father's banner that contributed so much did not get the right share of recognition. Awards should come to us but not by asking it should come to us.
•       We have to develop infrastructure. The market of Kannada films have to increase.
•       Today 250 crore for non Kannada films is from Karnataka.
•       Having only 450 theatres is a shame for all of us.
•       We should also contemplate for release of DVD's along with theatre screenings.
