Story:

Dancing legend Prabhu Deva’s ABCD (Any Body Can Dance) 3D film released today. The choreographer turned into director Remo Dzouza has now come up with India’s first 3D film on dance is ABCD. Now a day’s dance reality shows are most TRP raking ventures on television, ABCD clutch to a story then you will realize and be familiar with easily.  Prabhudeva in the centre phase of this story of TV dance shows.

Coming to story Vishnu (Prabhudheva) extensively considers as India's best dancer, dance is more than a passion - it's the reason he lives! So when he finds himself frightened out from the swish dance academy JDC he himself set up, by his manipulative business partner Jahangir (K.K. Menon).  Vishnu decides to stop dance and go away from Mumbai forever. Vishnu plans to leave Mumbai, but is stopped by his friend Gopi (Ganesh Acharya).

On the other hand the night before his departure he witnesses a most amazing sight a group of dancers lead by Salman Yusuf Khan and Dharmesh Yelande preparing for the upcoming Ganpati Dance Battle - an annual festival that pits Mumbai's best dance groups against each other. Watching the raw talent of these amazing dancers helps Vishnu arrive at a decision. He will take this unrelated group under his group, help them to overcome their personal opposition and past evil spirit and turn them into India's best dance group. Prabhu Deva dance really rocks. The entire story you must watch on Big Screen…

Analysis:

ABCD (Any Body Can Dance) is a complete dance film. Dance sequences are so exciting that you won’t be able takes your eyes off the screen. Prabhu Deva is the main reside of the movie and gives the other dancers a run for their money. Ganesh Acharya is more than ever good with his comedy timing. Kay Kay Menon is at his natural best and scores high with his perfect performance. It is a dance film expressive and remarkable scene to create a decent impact. Prabhu Deva’s Hindi accent is a big off-ramp in the film. The second half is very slow as many scenes have been dragged out. Some emotional scenes could have been easily chopped off. Some of the dance sequences have Hollywood impact. The 3D effect in most of the songs seems avoidable as it creates a distressing effect to the entire flow. The youngsters and those with interest on dance. At the box office, this would reach a safe zone.

Performances:

ABCD brings back Prabhu Deva in front of the camera after a long time. Prabhu Deva gave a supernatural performance with his moves and emotional expressions. Kay Kay Menon was outstanding. Salman Yusuf was just ok. Lauren could have been better. Dharmesh was ok. Prince was efficient. Rest of the people done justice to their roles.

Technicalities:

Remo D Souza’s direction is quite ok as he manages to get a story out of a dance oriented film. He deserves a special pat for bringing out some of the finest talents on one platform. Tracks by Sachin-Jigar are an enormous adding to the film. Cinematography is top class with most of the dance sequences are captured extraordinarily well. The 3D effect is just OK and is good only for few scenes. Dialogues are simple. Editing is simply superb.  Screen play of ABCD also just ok. Production values are good.

Final Word: Go and Watch ABCD, It is a complete Dance Film of Prabhu Deva.
