Q. What is 'Buridi' all about?
EVV - The film is about 13 pairs and their entertaining acts in Bangkok. For example, Suman Setti and Hema is a one pair, Jai Prakash Reddy and Telangana Sakuntala ia another pair, Jeeva and Sana is another one, etc... all comedy pairs
Q. What's new in film?
EVV -'Buridi' would be my 50th film as director and as such I want to make it a memorable film and I have put in lot of effort. I made this film presuming that people would laugh 8 times on seeing every scene and would laugh for the whole week after seeing the film, and everyone to see the film thrice. I expect 'Buridi' to be my best film amongst all the comedy films.
Q. Your titles are different and 'Buridi' is also different. Why so?
EVV -Generally titles are based on the hero, but in this film, every character is associated with 'Buridi'. In the film, characters deceive or would be deceived by someone at some stage. If you can show the film's story in the title itself, it will be helpful for the film's openings and I strongly believe in this funda.
Q. How significant is composing a parody song with 13 pairs?
EVV -That song is the main highlight for the film as this would last for 10 minutes. We shot the film in untapped locations in Bangkok with a rich feel and I wish everyone would enjoy this song.
Q. Tell us about your association with Koti for 28 movies
EVV -This is me and Koti's 28th film. We know each other's requirement well. And Koti gave good tunes for this film as well. There are few films where I failed as a director, but the film has done well musically.
Q. How far do you think the Parody song would reach the audience?
EVV -I'm confident that the audience would surely enjoy the parody song. They will get involved in the song. Moreover, I have not tasted failure in parody songs in my movies thus far.
Q. Previously you used to make different films but now why are you just confined only to comedy movies?
EVV -As a film maker, I aspire to make different films, but the audience appreciated only few films. And I learnt that contemporary audience expect comedy films from me and my responsibility is to deliver what they need.
Q. You experience any problems with Producers on Budget? How far they cooperate?
EVV -I have to say that producers are the main reason for the film's quality. And 'Buridi' producers are one of the best producers I have ever worked with.
Q. Your journey towards making 50 films?
EVV -Although, there are few hiccups, the journey has been pleasant and I'm happy with what I am. And I ascribe it to Dr. D Rama Naidu. When I'm tasting failures, he gave me the opportunity to make movies and turned my career. I shall be ever grateful to him. Of-course, I also thank the audience for watching my films and making it successful.
Q. What's your next project?
EVV -Currently, my focus is on 'Buridi' and on the films' release.
Saranya (Reshma) works for a fashion publication. She is for all time writes attention-grabbing articles on love and affection. One fine day she is about to write down a notorious article.
