Banupriya makes a comeback

Banupriya was the sought-after actress in early 1990s. A classical dancer and a great performer on screen, she stole the hearts of many.

However in the recent past she chose to go on a hibernation and was seen rarely on mega serials.

But she was back doing a brief role in Dhanush starrer 3 as his mother. Now she is all set to a meaty role in a movie titled En Peyar Kumarasamy, which is directed by Rathan Chandrasekar.

Speaking about the film, he says, 'It is about a boy who loses his mother and is brought up an adamant father. He finds a girl whose love reminds him of his mother.

The psychological changes he undergoes on losing her as well is what this film is about'.

The film is slated to hit screens by the end of August. The audio would be launched soon. Interestingly actor - director Parthiban has sung a song in the album, set to tunes by Thashi.
