Upendra to act in Rao direction

The super star of Kannada cinema is all set to act under the senior director of Kannada N Om Prakash Rao. Rao has recently directed his 25th film ‘AK 56’ a bombastic action film. He thinks different and his film making is also different. He has many hits to his credit like Lock Up death, AK 47, AK 56, Mandya, Kalasipalya, Bheema Theeradalli and a few others. He is a comedy actor too. Rao has directed many big stars already but in the generation of Upendra he was missing in his list.

In a new production ‘Om Productions’ Om Prakash Rao is making a film starring Upendra. Gopichand Babool is the ‘asli’ producer of the film. Rao has a mass subject with love and sentiment. It is about a protagonist who wants to rule Bangalore.

For this special film in the career of senior director Rao, Telugu super star Nagarjuna is expected to come and switch on the camera. 60 well known artists of Kannada cinema are part of the cast. MS Ramesh dialogues, Palaniraj stunts, Arjun Janya in the music plus Satya Hegde as cameraman are part of the technical team.
