'Chandra' Shoot Begins - Prasad is Producer!

The bath tub with gold color and fragrance mixed in the water, surroundings to it looking magnificent was the artistic creation of director Roopa Iyer for the royal bath for the lovely looking Shriya Saran the bilingual film in Kannada and Tamil ‘Chandra’.

At Bangalore Palace the grand looking set was looking even grander in the presence of South India top actress Shriya Saran. The queen taking dip in this pond was the song sequence that Roopa Iyer director of national and international acclaim ‘Mukhaputa’ created for her second ambitious project ‘Chandra’.

Baaninalli Inukuvavalu…Bhoomiyalli Balukuvavalu….Rathriyalli Laali Haaduvavalu…Kannu Kukkuvavalu Ivalu, Halinalli Mindhavalu….this song set for Shriya Saran in the voice of Shreya Goshal.

Shriya with the assistants decked as queens secretaries poured the milky water….the shot for the song continued. After the schedule here in Bangalore Palace the ‘Chandra’ team moves to Mysore and other surroundings in Bangalore.

Meanwhile there is change in the producer. Rippon Malhotra of Rippsons India was earlier disclosed as producer. In his place Prasad of Sammarth Ventures has come in. Prasad is producing the film in Narasimha Art Production. Roopa Iyer is the CEO of this new production banner.

Roopa Iyer roping in two popular names of Tamil films comedy actor Vivek and character artist Vijayakumar. It is a second film for both topnotch actors of Tamil films. Vivek recently acted in ‘Maaricha’ that is yet to release and it was his first Kannada cinema. Vijayakumar had acted in ‘Appu Pappu’ Kannada cinema in a character role.

Vivek is playing the adapted son in the kingdom and he will be Shreya Saran brother. Vijayakumar is in the role of lovely star Prem Kumar the hero of the film father. Vijayakumar is a veteran actor in Tamil has acted in nearly 400 films. He has nearly four decades of experience as an actor. He is also a politician in Tamil Nadu.
