The film is about Basavaraju Kathimani played by V Ravichandran a honorary doctorate coming to the college to take up PUC examination on a challenge. Father comes to college but his son is studying in higher class of the same college. What happens in the college campus is a good lesion to students outside the academic studies.

As a student Basavaraja Kattimani falls to the charms of Sarala played by Daisy Bopanna. Teaching how to lead a life is more important than academic study is the crux of this film. As the title indicates craze there is no such craze, no comedy, no good songs in the first half. there is serious problem in UFO projection at Abhinay theatre situated on BVK Iiyengar road in Bangalore.
