The KFCC President in his speech stated that the Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda did not agree to receive even a bouquet from the Karnataka cinema industry on this occasion quoting the drought situation in the state. When people are suffering it is not right thing to get the honor stated the chief minister. KFCC President KVC saluted this stand of the Chief Minister DVS.
In lieu of the bouquet and honor we can give one minute standing ovation to our chief minister DVS stated KV Chandrasekhar. That was obliged by all in the industry. For the second time the audience stood up. Earlier they stood up for the Nada Geethe was rendered by Samarthana Blind School students.
What KFCC President KV Chandrasekhar did not notice is that Chief Minister received the bouquet given by his Information department director Bevinmaradh at the start of the state awards presentation as a part of the welcome procedure.
