BBMP gives Rs.1 Lakh to Geethapriya

The ailing lyricist and director of Kannada cinema Geethapriya is getting financial support to meet the medical bills slowly and the worry of no money to treatment is slowly getting wiped out.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike – BBMP has decided to donate Rs.1 lakh for the 81 years ailing Geethapriya who is supposed to undergo two more treatments.

Bengaluru City Mayor S Harish handed over Rs.1 lakh cheque to Geethapriya and his wife at Mahalakshmi residence. Geethapriya was not able to speak anything as his throat is seriously affected.

City Mayor wished speedy recovery for the yesteryears talented director and lyricist Geethapriya.
