Although, Karan insists on not to making any official announcement unless and until he gets a suitable director for the screen adaptation of the novel. Karan broke the news on micro blogging site Twitter by posting, ‘People been asking about the Meluha Book…. We are going to lock the director first … then start the screenplay work and then cast LORD SHIVA!’
The Immortals of Meluha is the first Fiction based novel of the ‘Shiva’ trilogy series by Amish Tripathi. The novel earned a great commercial success and was critically acclaimed. Just few days post its launch in February 2010, novel was declared as the best seller among magazines and newspapers.
