Villain Audio Review Good Mixture from Gurukiran

Ace music director Gurukiran has done it again. He has given five good mixture in this ‘Villain’ Kannada cinema directed by MS Ramesh for producer Yogish Hunsur. Adhitya and Ragini are in the lead roles.

The new discovery is that music director Gurukiran has penned the opening song Operation Kamala…in this film. It seems he reads newspapers and watches television despite of his busy schedule.

The first song in the album ‘Villain’ is on Operation Kamala…. Beda Annorella Beku Anthare Beku Andhorella Dikkettu Ninthore….this is a song that makes direct attack on the present political system of BJP government. The horse trading was very much in the ruling BJP government. For this song the music overpours the lyrics.

2. Kannalle Sambashane...

The second song Kannalle Sambashane Mounane Alapane….is romantic and soothing to the ears.Kanaslai Payana Manasali Milana….explains how the lovers are deep in their thoughts. A really good score indeed. My tomorrow is garlanded by you is a good way of explaining love. The pitch of this song and variation is very pleasant.

3. Gelathi Nannindha...

    Lyrics – Santosh Naik

Gelathi Nanindha Dooradhe Eke Olavu Ommele Kai Jarabeke Baduke Mugulodha Nauke….is a sorrow song in the inimirable voice of Khailash Kher for the lyrics of Santosh Naik. There is chorus singers also in this song. On the inlay card it is printed as ‘Ninnindha instead of Nannindha’.

The fourth song in the album Illa Annu…Nanna Naanu Neenenu Entha Chamatkaravu…….Srini is the new singer of this song for good lyrics of Jayanth Kaikini who is giving lovely lines from Mungaru Male time.

The fifth song in the album is Garam Masale….Neenu…Ninna Kannota, chellata, Ninthalle Sudthaithalle…kallatta nann kunthalli Kolthaithalle….is a fast number set in the group dance. Jaassie gift and Shivani Kashyap have sung for this Masala mass song. Chakamaki Beka….Bili Bili Tholu…..Thale Kettogidhe Ninna Nodi…..all explains the personality of the dancer who is singing the song that is obviously Ragini in the film.

Anand Audio has brought this album to the market. The English spelling of ‘Villain’ is spelt as ‘Villan’ in the inlay card.
