Mouna Guru is a tamil Movie in which Vamsam fame Arulnidhi plays the lead role and the movie is directed by Shanthakumar. Mouna Guru' has an off beat theme with all commercial elements thrown in.

This film with Arulnidhi and Iniya in the lead role has songs composed by Thaman. First of all, it can be presumed that for Thaman, the current phase of his career is shooting vertical. He has scored music for STR’s Osthi the songs of which have already hit the air with much fray. This actor-turned musician has the niche to prefer those tunes which have energy in the rendition and the whole orchestration.

Director Santha Kumar says, the film is a thriller. A crime drama, it has interesting twists and turns. Interestingly, there is no lip movement song or dance number in the film, but only montage numbers, according to the director. He says it was decided not to picturise the songs on the protagonists for fear that it might impede the flow of the narrative.

The director (Santha Kumar), who earlier worked as an associate to director Dharani in Dhill, Dhool and Ghilli, is expected to make a good start with 'Mouna Guru'
