Why this Kolaveri Kolaveri Kolaveri di?’ Chances are this song and its tune is ringing in your ears. The catchy part Tamil/ part English track is from an upcoming Tamil flick ‘3’ that stars Danush and Shruti Hassan and is directed by Danush’s wife and Rajnikanth’s daughter Aishwarya

Judging by the song’s wild popularity and reach across regional boundaries, apparently SRK decided to buy the Hindi remake rights and approached Rajinikanth.It is the superstar’s son-in-law, Dhanush, who is responsible for Kolaveri Di. SRK was too late however, as Akshay had already discussed it with his production team and met Rajini to discuss the same.

With everyone including Sonu Nigam’s little boy Nevaan doing their version of Kolaveri Di, SRK must really be feeling left out. Especially, since he has been beaten by Akshay Kumar.

The two stars have been known to take digs at each other during award shows, and their rivalry has been pretty clear. After his falling out with Farah Khan, SRK had even lost Tees Maar Khan to Akshay (but now we’re sure SRK doesn’t mind that so much!).The only thing worse for SRK would be losing out to Aamir or Salman!
