The film has comeback star Himesh Reshammiya as an actor and a music composer as well. Riding high on the success of his last film ‘Bodyguard’ as a music composer, the expectations from the film were certainly high and let us tell you he doesn’t disappoint.

Songs:

Umrao Jaan:
Singer: Himesh Reshammiya, Purbi Joshi

The song marks a typical comeback of Himesh Reshammiya and brings back the ‘Dhin-chik’ composition that he is known for. Sung in his renowned nostalgic tone, Himesh has mixed matched some really funny lyrics penned by Sameer and it can be truly called as fun number. The album also has a club-remix version that is enjoyable as well.

Damadam Mast Kalandar:
Singer: Himesh Reshammiya, Vinit Singh, Alam Gir Khan, Shabab Sabri, Punnu Brar, Palak Muchhal, Sabina Shaikh, Rubina Shaikh

The song 'Damadam Mast Kalandar's video is a virtual spoof on Himesh himself. Sung by a group of singers namely Vineet Singh, Alam Gir Khan, Palak Muchhal, Shabab Sabri, Sabina Shaikh, Rubina Shaikh, Punnu Brar along with Himesh Reshammiya the song is a power house number. The song is penned by lyricist Shabbir Ahmed who has mixed some really funky lyrics. The song also has a remix version that is equally entertaining.

Aaja Ve:

The romantic number is a signature romantic number that features in almost every Himesh Reshammiya album. Again written by Shabbir Ahmed it is the romantic number that adds a soft angle to the other wise loud number. This one too has a remix version but I personally prefer the original which is more soothing and easy going.

Madhushala:
Singer: Himesh Reshammiya, Aditi Singh Sharma

known for her hard rock numbers like ‘Love Ka the End’, it comes a surprise to hear Aditi Singh Sharma’s voice in a number like Madhushala that suits her voice to T.

Later however she is over taken by Himesh and KL Saigal. Can’t exactly term the song as melodious number and hence it stands as a mediocre track. Two additional 'remixes' of the song grace the album which are equally unimpressive as well.

Yun Toh Mera Dil:
Singer: Himesh Reshammiya, Sadhana Sargam

The love cum sad song is another impressive track that is added in the album. The use of old-ethnic instruments and use of minimal technology makes it sound as a classic number that has its own appeal. The song makes a comeback of singer Sadhana Sargam whose heavy voice makes it a soulful song.

Hum Tum:

The highlight of the song is its funny lyrics which exactly not every time features in any Bollywood number but when you say Himesh the unpredictable is the most predictable thing to arrive. ‘Hum Tum Train Ki Do Patriyon Ki Tarah’ isn’t the one that can attract listeners but the cool composition and equally cool crooning of Himesh makes it a decent number that can be enjoyed.

Tere Bina:

The heartbreaking and song with a soul track ‘Tere Bina’ is certainly another winner coming from Himesh and will certainly be loved by love song lovers.

I Need My Space:

A song that can be loved by every couple who’s in a tight relation, ‘I need my space’ is the song that will be enjoyed by the one who will want to convey the message to their loved one. A sad saga of the guy who wants to live life beyond the relation is a situational number.

Mango:
Singer: Himesh Reshammiya, Aditi Singh Sharma

If you thought the surprise elements ends there then wake up people as Himesh is all set to surprise you with ‘Mango’ a yet another song with unexpected lyrics making its way. After Madhushala, Aditi Singh Sharma finds herself crooning another song in the album along with Himesh leading it all the way. It’s a Metaphor factor played where a seasonal fruit is subtly compared to love which according to the lead star is also seasonal.

Bhool Jaau:

The song is a promotional number that also has Sachin Gupta along with Himesh Reshammiya crooning this number. This one will certainly soon climb the popularity chart as it has a super hit written all over it.
