Kona Venkat who wrote the screenplay for original is writing the script for Hindi version too. He has recently met Sanjay Dutt and narrated him this story. The actor loved the script and readily agreed to do the role of Mangal Bhai. This is the character played by Srihari in the original.
They are trying to rope in a hotshot superstar to play the hero role in it. Dhee was the only hit for Vishnu till date and it has turned the career of Srinu Vytla forever. He has become a big director post Dhee. We have to wait and see if this film repeats the same feat in Hindi.
