‘Gali Gali Mein Chor Hain’ sounds like an interesting title, doesn’t it? And the concept behind it is interesting too. This film by Rumy Jafferry is a satire on corruption that has reached every nook and corner of the nation. The film will star Ayesha Takia and Akshay Khanna. Where Ayesha has enthralled audiences in serious films like ‘Dor’ and has also just finished another serious film ‘Mod’ by Nagesh Kukunoor, Akshaye is the master of this genre. Both talented actors wil give a new direction to the film.

‘Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai’ will be produced by Nitin Manmohan and is slated to go on floors next month. With films like ‘Peepli Live’ hitting bullseye with the audiences, the Indian crowd has opened way for this kind of genre. It is sometimes a treat to watch a different film coming out from the Hindi film Industry rather than candy floss romantic stories.
