Catherine : I want to see myself performing various good roles. I believe cinema is not just glamour. Proving mettle in acting would give a long stay. I believe in this profession. There is a scope and it is the right kind of role one should get. Cinema is not a skin show at all.

Q : Do you have anyone in mind?

Catherine : I look at the range of Bollywood actress Kajol. Her career in real and reel life says everything. That’s how we should aim at.

I believe this profession. I believe in earning my prestige. That can happen only through good work.

I would like the youths to get more productive. The 20 to 30 is the cream age. It is the age to be more responsible. I support green peace movement. Environment is what we should aim at protecting.

Q : Is there a future for cinema in the years to come?

Catherine : Whatever may be the mode of entertainment for people, well made films always has the future.
